Avery went to school today since it is closed tomorrow for the holiday. When I picked him up, he was hanging out with a group of kids flipping through books. He is comfy there. Here is the Freely Report. (Named such because of the overuse of the word ‘freely’ in everything Goddard does. I get it, you aren’t forcing my kid to look at ABC flashcards, he did it freely–which means he didn’t do it! : ))

Big kids:

  • Naim watched DER Lesson 5.
  • Aaron read Usborne Very First Readers Book 13, Monster’s Diner.
  • In Calvert Math we used manipulatives to FREELY explore fractions esp. 1/2, 1/3, 1/4. Did the main book lessons 6.2, 6.3, 6.4. Will do practice book next time + mid chapter cumulative review.
  • Aaron Sylvan 2 pp. HOP Lesson 15 read “Good Job, Dennis” again and did worksheet. Also went back and played a memory game we missed a few days ago (in Sylvan)
  • Naim did -ag words in Sylvan 2 pp. Started Lesson 14 in HOP -ix words. Did DVD and read lesson in main book.
  • Sentence School was I run. I jump.
  • HWT was –p- we listened to “diver lessons and descending letters” on CD
  • Watched BrainPop about fish.
  • Naim and I did Yoga lesson on “honesty” in Angel Bear Yoga. Aaron did not really participate.
  • We prepared the agar petri dishes for the Magic Schoolbus bacteria experiments.
  • Kids did watercolor painting in afternoon.
