Avery spent 1/2 the day in the Forrest. He has his first Preschool daily report. His transition seems to be going well. He has been going all day on Mondays lately. He is really tired at home on those days, and I don’t get home till 7:00 so all I see is the cranky, tired Avery. Imagine the parents who only get that hour with their kids every day like that. That would suck. You would only know your kid at his worst, when you are at your worst.
Big kids had drama and art. Drama had to do something with making different faces or stares. It was funny when he was showing me all of his stares on the max on the way home. Aaron made a paper mache hat of sorts.
Homeschool work today:
- Naim read “Spots”. He did an ok job. Then we made “poems” with rhyming words out of our magnetic letter and word stuff. Naim’s was “I see a King that has a ring.” Aaron’s was “Bat pats the cat.”
- We did Lesson 3, day 1 in MIF
- They worked on their sylvan books. Naim finished his last one so he is finishing the second half of the one we stopped when it got too hard. It is not too hard now. Progress! Naim also did spelling words.
- Aaron did the worksheets for Lesson 4 in HOP. He read the book that goes with that which I can’t think of the name. Talent Show or something.
- Naim did the worksheets for Lesson 8 in HOP
- They watched BrainPop about Thomas Edison
- Aaron did a rhyming page and a punctuation page in HWT.
- Naim did several circle exercises in ZB
- We did 2 pages in MGG
