Avery stayed the day at Goddard. I have his report here.
Big Kids:
- We read a book from DER about Maria Martinez.
- We played math flashcard games with the chain links. Aaron did not participate and will have to make this up.
- They did 2 pp. in Sylvan.
- Aaron did iPad Letter School for numbers 1, 2 and did the book pages for HWT.
- Naim did the Bonus book and reread the story in HOP Lesson 16.
- Naim did the Zaner-Bloser app for iPad to review letters Jj, Qq, and Gg.
- We watched BrainPop and Aaron did the quiz.
Of note here is that I totally forgot that today was OMSI day and I could not go at the last minute because I already scheduled Avery’s IEP meeting. I felt kind of bad about it. It was about physics. We had 9 classes and we missed…2. Not bad considering for 2 of them I was in the hospital. If we sign up next year, it will be in the 3-5 grade level, so that will be more challenging, which is good.
We had to quit a bit early to go to Avery’s IEP meeting. I wrote about that here. We were supposed to go to our park but it became a downpour, so we didn’t make it. We came back and made Aaron’s brownies for finishing his reading book. I mostly supervised that and they did most everything on their own.
