Avery’s Goddard activities.
Big Kids:
- Naim did DER Lesson 21
- Calvert Math was, I thought, going to be an easy lesson, but Naim struggled to the point where I had to cut him off and give him the rest as homework to finish up later. It was just finding the number one before and one after numbers up to 99. My god that was a struggle. And they included a hundred chart ON THE PAGE to look it up. I ended up making him make every single number with place value blocks and then add or subtract one and count. Then the writing of the numbers is just awful. He forgets the answer in the time it takes him to write the number. I’m starting to think that I will record the answers and make him trace them or something. ACK!
- Sylvan, Naim did 2 pages on clothing words. Aaron did 4 pp.
- Naim did the worksheets for HOP K2 Lesson 1.
- Aaron did the worksheet pages for HOP 1st 2, Lesson 6.
- We did a light spectrum experiment in Magic Schoolbus.
- Sentence School. What is a hammer? A hammer is a tool.
- Handwriting was 2.
- We tried to do two of our woodworking projects, but that turned out to be problematic so we were not successful.
