Started Tuesday Fieldtrips for summer today. We were going to go to the zoo but it was so rainy when we got there that we opted for children’s museum instead. Good day, spent from about 10-3 there. Naim made a Tie Dye shirt and they both made clay projects. Naim opted to bring his home and Aaron is kiln firing his boat that he made. Pictures:
- Getting ready to Tie Dye.
- We don’t have it rinsed and washed yet, so the finished product will appear at a later date, I’m sure.
- Avery in baby garden. He is technically still allowed in there, but he towers over the other kids.
- Avery giving the animals a bath in vet hospital.
- Naim is way over there in the white coat, being a vet. I have to tag along Avery so much I miss spending time with the big kids at these things.
- At the controls in the theater.
- I have no idea what anyone is ever doing on stage. It is always total chaos.
- The messy garage is different, now. No age restriction, but no glue gun or hammer and nails, either. Aaron was dissapionted, but Avery was thrilled.
- They have a lot of natural things like sticks, seashells, wood blocks, etc. now.
- Naim and Avery not knowing what to do…the staff here was not very helpful or engaging.
- Clay Studio. Naim made a human…with a penis. Avery made his hands messy.
- Avery in the light box room.
- More Avery with clay.
- Driving the bus in the Zoom Room.
- Water works.
- Aaron always spends all of his time here making currents and mazes. I think he would spend hours here if I let him.
- Naim helping out.
- On…what? Loch Ness Monster?
- Heading home. Notice Avery in pajamas because he was so wet I knew he would be miserable in that cold, damp tunnel and that’s all I had.
