Feeling almost back to normal. Kids did baths, and laundry and packing for our upcoming trip tomorrow to Oral Hull Foundation for the Blind. I hear these kinds of comments about Oral Hull. “The board is working with the management to have higher expectations for them to properly utilize their funding.” and “The cook is good, just don’t get involved in her drama.” and, “Just make sure the kids have fun, if you pull that off, you’ve done ok.” and “Here’s a few things you can do if you get bored, and you will get bored.” and “Don’t expect too much, like, prepare for the toilets to smell like piss.” So…okaaaaay, then. WTF? Not really expecting anything. Going into it like a work project, not like a vacation. I’ve heard it is five families, no other adults who are blind, just blind kids. So N and I will be the designated dog and pony show for the weekend, I’m sure. Doing our duty for the blind kids of the future and mankind! And the kids will just get some exposure to different things, I guess. Hopefully nothing that will scar them for life.
Anyway, Avery’s Freely.
