I started this site as a form of portfolio documentation, as I had seen done at Windsor House School in Vancouver, BC. But it became a bit tedious and I found other, quicker ways to document progress. I also started having concerns about my kids’ privacy as they got older, so there is that and it got neglected.
I do have thoughts on home and alternative education. And after my experiences in schools of education, as a teacher myself and also homeschooling 3 kids for the past 14 years. I have a few ideas and tips and things to say. So, I may turn this into a place for that kind of thing. I can do curriculum reviews, alt school reviews, the pros and cons on homeschooling lifestyle, tips and ways to homeschool when you are disabled, etc. So, I will try to clean this place up and bounce in from time to time to put something down that may be worthy to someone thinking about or doing homeschool. I have to be honest, though. Its not my top priority, so it may take some time, but it will happen.
